One of the most requested recipes from our vlogs is definitely our hummus! We make hummus all the time, and we pretty much always have it on hand…that is, unless I run out of garbanzo beans. Enjoy!


4 Cloves Garlic

1 Can (15 oz) Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas) - Drained, but keep 2 Tbsp of Liquid

2 Tbsp Liquid Reserve from Canned Garbanzo Beans (or Water)

1 Tsp Kosher Salt

1/3 Cup Tahini

5-6 Tbsp Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice (1 Lemon)

6 Dashes Hot Sauce



  1. Peel garlic cloves and mince in food processor.

  2. Add all the other ingredients to the food processor. Pulse on low 10 times, then scrape the sides of the processor bowl. Replace the lid and run on low for 30 seconds, then on high for another 30 seconds until pureed.
