Photographing Egypt
Photographing Egypt was extraordinary. From the major monuments like the Pyramids and Abu Simbel, to small intimate moments like capturing a small shop in Khan el Khalili with colorful trinkets hanging and covering every inch of space.
One of my favorite things I discovered when editing these photos was that the old monuments are so well preserved that many of my photos look like they were taken over 100 years ago. I therefore decided to edit some of in a vintage style. You can see those at the bottom. It’s fun to see that the photos I took in 2023 could have easily been taken in 1923.
