Speaking of Halloween season…it appears that carved pumpkins are already beginning to arrive on Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom!  Spotted on balconies and above doorframes all down Main Street USA, guests can spot unique pumpkins each with it’s own face or design themed to fit in with its surroundings!  For example, a fire hydrant is carved into a pumpkin above the fire station while a pumpkin above the Main Street Cinema show a film strip silhouette! Halloween Time officially begins at Magic Kingdom on August 12!

The first Friendship Boat with the new paint scheme has debuted!  The Friendship Boats provide service to and from Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and selected resorts.  The Friendship III now has a bright new paint job with a solid blue piece on top of the boat’s roof and bright shiny red around the sides along with a blue pinstripe around the bright white hull!  Previously this boat was more pastel and boasted a striped roof mimicking a traditional awning.  The new style is definitely more modern in our opinion!

After some mixed reviews and initial confusion using the Disney Genie and Genie+ services at Walt Disney World, the resort has released a series of “how-to” videos to help guests understand the system better.  The videos are available on both the Walt Disney World website under “Getting Started” and on the My Disney Experience App. (Don’t forget that if you’re working with a travel agent they can also help guide you through using this new and slightly confusing system!)

Jamie Lee Curtis has been rumoured to play Madame Leota in the upcoming film “The Haunted Mansion” and over the last week or so she’s shared posts on her Instagram account that seem to confirm the rumoured role!  The film is based on the classic attraction we all know and love and will not be a remake of the 2003 Eddie Murphy movie!  The film is set to hit theatres March 2023!
