Egypt’s Valley of the Kings and King Tut’s Tomb

Come explore the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. We'll descend into King Tut's Tomb and explore the tombs of other pharaohs as well. Now, if you’re not quite sure what the Valley of the Kings is, this is where a man named Howard Carter, in 1922, discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen, better known as King Tut.

So far, 63 tombs have been discovered here, and unfortunately for the Pharaohs, their efforts of hiding their tombs from ancient thieves was done in vain. Nearly every tomb that was discovered was found devoid of any earthly possessions. That is until 1922, when the tomb of Tutankhamun was found completely intact.
