I present for your viewing pleasure, part one of the Braun Family East Coast Road Trip vlogs! In this video, we stop at a mountain resort in Pennsylvania from my childhood - Seven Springs Resort!
We visit the Hotel Hershey in Hershey, PA! After Jess and I enjoy a little wine in the bathroom while Gigi sleeps, we explore this beautiful hotel, then have dinner in our room. The next day we enjoy some breakfast, then visit The Hershey Story, a museum dedicated to Milton Hershey.
In this video we make it to Newport, RI where we drive around to see some of the mansions, we tour The Breakers, have lunch at Bannister's Wharf, and then drive around the island to take in some breathtaking views!
Today we head over to Cape Cod to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, only to miss it! So we wait for another ferry and stop in an Irish pub for a pint. Once we finally make it to Martha's Vineyard, we have the most delicious chowder I've ever had at the Black Dog Tavern, we explore the island, and we shop at Vineyard Vines.
We're back in Newport, RI! We visit some wonderful sites in Newport, Rhode Island including the Touro Synagogue, the Museum of Newport History, and the Newport Vineyards Winery.
In the first of two videos devoted to Boston, we make our way from Newport, RI to Boston to eat at Warren's Tavern, visit the USS Constitution, Bunker Hill, the Boston Public Market, and Faneuil Hall!
In part two of our time in Boston, we continue along the Freedom Trail and visit the Boston Common and Public Garden, the Old North Church, the Paul Revere House, and more!
We make our way from Boston to Portland, Maine! We check into a wonderful AirBnB, eat at Duck Fat, visit the original LL Bean, and grab some donuts at The Holy Donut. The next day we eat at Lobster Shack Restaurant and visit some lighthouses.
Today we travel to Saratoga Springs, New York, then on to Niagara Falls - where we both fall very ill. Then, we make a one night stop in Toledo, Ohio and finally make it back home!
