Disney Legend Alice Davis has passed away at 93 years old.  Known as the original “designing woman” she had a long career with Disney designing and dressing animated figures for beloved Disneyland attractions “it’s a small world’ and “Pirates of the Caribbean”.  During her time with Disney she created costuming procedures, a manufacturing base and developed quality control systems and refurbishment techniques that established the standards for the rides and shows created by Walt Disney Imagineering.  She was married to fellow Disney Legend Marc Davis and the two of them are honoured with side by side windows on Main Street USA in Disneyland Park in California.
