The Temple of Isis, commonly known as the “Temple of Philae” due to the island it once rested on, has some of the most fascinating history of all the temples in Egypt. 

Now that the billion-dollar Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is open, you may be wondering if the original Egyptian Museum is still worth a visit. I contend that it is, and here are just a few of my favorite artifacts on display here that I think make the trip worth it.
