Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicked off last week and will run until November 19! As the name suggests, this festival offers plenty of incredible food & beverage options throughout Epcot! In addition to the eleven pavilions of World Showcase there are additional booths representing cuisine from around the world including Brazil, Ireland, Spain and more!
Some of the delicious cuisine offerings this year include the Belgian Waffles topped with warm chocolate or berry compote; Hawaiian Kālua Pork Slider with sweet and sour Dole pineapple chutney; Canadian Cheddar & Bacon Soup; Greek Spanakopita and so much more!
Guests can also enjoy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the festival including Schöfferhofer Pineapple Hefeweizen in Germany; Jansz Premium Rosé in Australia; 81Bay Brewing Co. Congo Pilsner in Kenya; Mango Lassi in India (non-alcoholic) and Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. Kentucky Pumpkin Barrel Ale in America along with many other options throughout the festival! Don’t forget to pick up your Festival Passport to use as a guide so you don’t miss any of the delectable snacks or sips!
There is also brand new merchandise launching with this festival featuring characters including Chef Minnie Mouse, Chef Mickey Mouse, Princess Tiana, Chef Remy and Chef Figment! Of course there is also amazing entertainment throughout this festival in the Eat to the Beat Concert Series including acts like Tiffany, Blanco Brown, Hoobastank, BBMAK, Kenny G and Boyz II Men! Mark your calendars friends! Because July 21 is Dole Whip Day at Disney Parks and Resorts! Of course there are plenty of places to enjoy a Dole Whip throughout the Disney Parks but from July 21 - 24 there are going to be some exclusive temporary offerings as well as the classic pineapple whip! For a limited time Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is offering a Dole Whip Cupcake; Disney’s Old Key West Resort is serving up a Dole Whip Key Lime Martini; Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has created a Tamatoa Inspired Dole Whip Cone complete with shiny gold sugar! This past weekend marked the return of the full version of The Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! After the closure in March 2020 a shorted and modified version of the show returned temporarily and after a long wait it’s back in it’s entirety with tumbling monkeys and aerial dancer!
We’ve been seeing various live entertainment slowly returning throughout the Disney Parks and most recently over in Epcot we’re seeing even more join that line up including Atlas Fusion, a Moroccan music and belly dancing act! The band of talented singers and musicians are joined by a beautiful dancer who performs an amazing dance routine!
Disney has shared a first look at the newly refurbished Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and it’s safe to say we’re in love! The royal blue carpet, mostly white and cream interior and touches of gold throughout the restaurant can’t help but evoke the spirit of one of Disney’s earliest princesses - Cinderella. Now, whether Imagineers had that in mind, we don’t know but either way it’s absolutely beautiful! Victoria & Albert’s is slated to reopen on July 28!

Beginning today (July 18) through July 20 The Skyway Bridge that connects the main building of Disney’s Contemporary Resort to Bay Lake Tower will be closed for refurbishment! Guests staying at the resort will need to use an alternate route between buildings for a few days!

Disney World gave us a sneak peek at the highly anticipated attraction coming to Magic Kingdom - TRON Lightcycle! This attraction has been under development for quite some time and is now in the testing phase! This is going to be one of the fastest coasters in any Disney park where guests can climb aboard their Lightcycle and launch into the Grid for a race through the computerized world!
More character dining is returning soon to Walt Disney World! Winnie the Pooh and Friends will be returning to The Crystal Palace on Sept 20, while Stitch will be back at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on Sept 27! And over at Disney’s Beach Club, Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast will be returning Oct 4!
During the month of July guests can celebrate the 67th anniversary of the Disneyland Resort with some special treats throughout the park! Now through July 17 guests can find sweet treats like the Disneyland Birthday Cupcake or Mickey-Shaped Chocolate Dounut at Craftsman Grill. At the GHC Holiday Cart you can find a Mickey’s Shorts Cookie or Birthday Waffle Shot (served with a variety of milks or alcohol for those 21+) In Disneyland Park, Red Rose Tavern will be serving up Walt’s Chill Cheese Fries for a limited time on July 17th!
Guests can also celebrate the birthday of Oga’s Cantina owner, Oga Garra, with some special drinks from July 18-20 at the Disneyland Resort! The Blue Citrus Mule contains citrus vodka, blue curaçao, pure cane syrup, mule mix & club soda! For those would prefer a non-alcoholic option to toast Oga, the Pasaana Punch is a refreshing option made from orange juice, white grape juice, red passion fruit & hibiscus!

A new baby red river hog was born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Last month the piglet was born and is bonding with it’s parents Daisy and Cheech with the Animal Care Team!

Mark your calendars for Dec 15! ABC is airing a 2 hour special to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Disney’s animated Beauty and the Beast! This will be a hybrid of animation and live action entertainment with musical performances scattered throughout the original feature film! Songs from the original film will be performed in front of a live audience at Disney Studios but no cast announcements have been released yet!
Spooky season fans rejoice! The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland will be closing August 15 and reopening September 2 for it’s holiday overlay inspired by “The Nightmare Before Christmas”! This is one of our personal favourite things about Disneyland in the fall and we can’t wait to see it come to life!

There ain’t nothing gonna stop us now, cuz we’re almost there! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be coming to the Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland in California in late 2024! The name and first look at the attraction evolving from the reimagining of Splash Mountain was announced last week during ESSENCE Fest in New Orleans!
Imagineers have been visiting and researching Louisiana extensively to ensure they capture the spirit of the city that inspired Princess Tiana’s story! This attraction will take guests on a musical adventure through the bayou as Tiana, Naveen and Louis prepare to host an epic Mardi Gras celebration for everyone to attend!

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival begins July 14 bringing amazing food, wine and of course live entertainment to Epcot! The full lineup for The Eat to the Beat Concert Series has been announced and is pretty incredible! Guests can see acts perform throughout the month including Joey Fatone & Friends, 98°, Hanson, Sugar Ray and Boys II Men just to name a few!

From July 5 - Aug 14 over 30 restaurants and shops at Disney Springs will be celebrating the Disney Springs Flavors of Florida! These locations will be serving up special food and beverages inspired by the Sunshine State! Guests can try delicious treats like a Blood Orange Eclair from Amorette’s Patisserie or a Cuban sandwich from The Polite Pig plus much more!

Shanghai Disneyland reopened on June 30, 2022 after a long closure due to Covid-19! Joe School, President and GM of Shanghai Disney Resort said “I am very appreciative of our cast members who worked tirelessly throughout our closure to ensure a safe and magical return for our guests.” During the initial reopening phase, the park will resume operations with controlled capacity for guest and cast member safety!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is reopening at both Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and Disneyland on August 25! Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices will be back to transform guests ages 3 - 12 with magical makeovers including hairstyling, makeup, costumes and accessories! Reservations for this magical experience can be made beginning early August!

Did you know you can play golf at Walt Disney World? The Magnolia Golf Course is an amazing course on property and is about to become even better as it undergoes a redesign! Four holes will be remagined with innovative layouts and landscaping and will debut later this year!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning to the Magic Kingdom! This separately ticketed event will take place on select nights between Nov 8 - Dec 22 and brings festive magic for the whole family! Guests can enjoy exclusive Christmas themed entertainment including “Minnies Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” and “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade”! There will also be activities, experiences and food offerings exclusive to this event available throughout the park!
Tickets for this event are limited and will go on sale for guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels as early as June 30 and for the general public beginning July 7. Prices range from $149-199 per person.

It was also announced that Holiday Nighttime Spectaculars are also returning to Disneyland Resort! Guests will be able to enjoy “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks in Disneyland and “World of Color - Season of Light” in Disney’s California Adventure!

Slowly but surely characters have been returning to Disney Parks and we are so excited about it! In the Magic Kingdom, Mirabel from the film “Encanto” has joined the “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade”! Beginning July 6 Minnie will join Mickey at the Town Square Theatre and Chip N’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long returns to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! On July 10 Peter Pan and Snow White return to greet guests in Fantasyland!
Over in Hollywood Studios, Star Wars Launch Bay returns July 17 where guests can meet Chewbacca, BB-8 or even Darth Vader himself! Disney has also shared that in coming months guests will be able to meet Aladdin, Jasmine, Merida, Pooh, Tigger and more throughout the parks!
In Disneyland, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage has been undergoing a refresh and will be reopening on July 25 with more coral, fresh paint, enhanced special effects, lighting plus our favourite septopus, Hank! Take a look at the video from Disney Parks talking about the renovation below!

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will take over from Sept 2 - Oct 31, 2022! There will be seasonal decor, ghostly & ghastly attraction makeovers, specialty treats, photo ops & more during this spooky season!
Every night during Halloween Time guests can enjoy “Halloween Screams” - a projection & light show! During weekend nights this show will be elevated with fireworks as well!
Plutos Pumpkin Pursuit, a family friendly pumpkin hunt, will return to Downtown Disney from Sept 9 - Oct 31. Plaza de la Familia will return from Sept 2 - Nov 2 in Disney’s California Adventure to celebrate the spirit of Dia De Los Muertos with live music, food & hands on crafts!
Oogie Boogie Bash will return as a separately ticketed event on 23 select nights between Sept 6 - Oct 31. This event includes immersive treat trails, the “Frightfully Fun Parade” & more! There will be an exclusive event for D23 members this year as well! Tickets for Magic Key Holders & D23 members go on sale June 28 & will open for general public on June 30!
While we’re all excited for spooky season, we do love the holidays at Disney as well! And this week Disney is celebrating Halfway to the Holidays, begining with some surprise festive treats!
From June 23 - 30 Disneyland Resort guests can find the Christmas Dinner Corn Dog and the Peppermint Churro in Downtown Disney!
In Walt Disney World guests can get in the holiday spirit by picking up a Very Merry Minnie Mouse Cupcake at the Grand Floridian or the Peppermint Bark Cheesecake at The Mara in Animal Kingdom Lodge - both available from June 23-26!
Disney Springs popcorn carts will also have limited stock of the Gold Christmas Tree Popcorn Buckets! Joffrey’s Coffee is also in on the holiday spirit with a return of the Peppermint Mocha & White Chocolate Gingerbread Latte from June 23-26!

Fine dining restaurant, Victoria & Albert's, is getting ready to reopen at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort on July 28! Reservations for this AAA Five Diamond Award winning restaurant will open June 20. Guests can indulge in elegant modern twists on American cuisine in a Victorian style setting along with world class wine pairings. This restaurant does have a dress code so be sure to dress to impress in semi-formal to formal attire!

For guests eagerly awaiting the runDisney Princess Half Marathon registration, let us amp your excitment! The race themes have been shared and we see our favorite princesses representing each race!
Runners can choose to register for the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or the Fairy Tale Challenge (the 10K AND Half Marathon!) Registration opens June 17 for Club runDisney members and June 21 for general registration!

"Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond!" debuts today, June 13! This newly reimagined show features the characgters we know and love from Finding Nemo and is sure to be a hit!
Disney Cruise Line took delivery of the Disney Wish, the newest ship to join the fleet! It's begun its transatlantic trip to Florida and will sail it's maiden voyage on July 14!

It appears that the unique pirate themed rooms in Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be discontinued in 2023. No official date or reaon for the closure has been given by Disney.

Some menu changes have appeared at Riverside Mill Food Court at Port Orleans Resort! It appears some older dishes have been removed including the American Platter, Turkey Sandwich and Pot Roast. They've been replaced by dishes like Pancakes with Berry Compote, Gnocchi Turkey Bolognese and Shrimp and Grits!

The Adventurers Outpost character meet & greet at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will reopen June 19!
It appears that the opening of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is getting closer! Disney has removed the “We are closed” stickers from the boutique entrances at Magic Kingdom!
The Cultural Representative program is slowly returning to Walt Disney World! Palmas Restaurant Group which runs San Angel Inn & other Mexico Pavilion dining in Epcot is currently hiring Cultural Representatives. Supposedly we can expect to see representatives returning to the Germany, Norway, Italy, France, UK & Canada pavilions around August 2022 as well!

Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is finally open at Epcot! This long awaited attraction is like no other! Featuring a reverse launch, 360 degree turn, incredible music & the characters you know & love from the films, this coaster is unlike anything we've seen at Disney before!

Over at Disneyland Fantasmic has made its return! The show closed with the rest of the park in March 2020 & is just as amazing as fans remember!

The Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland has been undergoing renovations & finally had a soft reopen this last weekend with a full reopen, when guests can begin making reservations, slated for June 8!
We know that Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue will be returning June 23 & Disney has shared that a few changes have been made! The lighting, audio system, scenery & script have all been given updates!
"A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King" will perform its final show before a small closure from July 5-15 to prepare for the return of "Festival of the Lion King" complete with the tumble monkeys & aerial dancers!
Guests staying at Fort Wildnerness will notice that the west side of the beach area is closed off for some refurbishment. The east end of the beach is still open for guest use though guests may notice some noise during the daytime hours.

Indiana Jones 5 will be debuting in theatres June 30, 2023! While we don't have many details on the film, a promo image was released at Star Wars Celebration showing Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones sillouhetted in a golden light.

Disney+ announced that season 3 of The Mandalorian will return to the streaming platform in February 2023!

Huge news out of Disney this week as they announced that 2023 tickets and resort bookings will open June 8! Along with this announcement came another regarding Disney Genie+. Starting June 8 this service will only be offered for purchase through the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit. This means you cannot purchase it ahead of time as a ticket add on for remaining dates in 2022 and 2023.
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is finally returning to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort on June 23 with reservations opening May 26! Guests are required to pay for their meal and the show ahead of time and prices range from $66-$74/adult and $39-$44/child.

Disney Cruise Line has updated their Covid-19 testing requirements for all sailings departing the USA or Canada on or after June 7. Guests ages five and up are required to be fully vaccinated and and must obtain a Covid-19 test on their own and upload the results prior to embarkation day.
Fourth of July fireworks will be returning to the Magic Kingdom! “Disney’s Celebrate America! - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will show at 9:20 PM on July 3 and 4!

Over in Disneyland, the Pirates of the Caribbean ride will be reopening July 1 after a months long refurbishment!

California Adventure guests will be seeing a familiar favorite returning to Buena Vista Street this summer! Disneyland shared on TikTok that the Red Car Trolley will be returning this summer and fans are excited! This icon of California Adventure Park is modelled after the Pacific Electric Railway of Los Angeles which ran from 1887 - 1961.
Across the Disneyland Esplanade in Disneyland Park it appears that Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is getting ready to once again dive to the depths of the sea! The refilling of the lagoon has begun so we are hopeful that this fan favorite will reopen soon!
✨Speaking of fan favorites returning to Disneyland - Fantasmic will be returning May 28 to the Rivers of America! This incredible show is celebrating its 30th anniversary and will be joining other awesome nightime spectaculars such as World of Color and the Main Street Electrical Parade at the Disneyland Resort.
✨Over at Aulani it was announced that Aunty's Beach House will reopen on May 25! This space is designed for kiddos ages 5-12 to enjoy activities, games and educational play time where they can do arts & crafts, learn about the ocean or even learn to play the ukulele!

✨Back in Magic Kingdom guests can expect to see some construction on Center Street for about four weeks beginning May 17 as the pavement is replaced.
✨The rooms at the All Star Sports Resort are undergoing refurbishments shortly! There is no time frame for completion as of right now but buildings 7 and 10 will be started first!

✨And overseas at Shanghai Disney Resort it appears that guests will have to wait a little longer to return to the park. Disney indicated earlier this week that there isn't a reopening date in sight just yet.

New details were released about the transformation of EPCOT! Disney shared concept art for World Celebration, a hub divided into several gardens each with their own unique identity. As you walk past Spaceship Earth into the park you’ll be greeted into this space by lush greenery, plenty of shade and seating. These gardens will change with the festivals throughout the year and in the evening they come alive with lighting for an immersive nighttime experience! This entire hub surrounds CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, a multi-use facility and outdoor space bringing EPCOT’s festivals to the core of the park!
MagicBand+ is launching this summer and has plenty of cool additional features such as bounty hunting in Galaxy’s Edge, an enhanced nighttime spectacular experience and fun interactions with the 50th statues throughout the parks. While not everything has launched yet, it does appear that you can already interact with the 50th statues eliciting various effects by waving your MagicBand+ in front of them.

Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced that the nation is preparing to ease border restrictions as early as June which could mean that international tourists will be able to travel there soon! This could mean that Disney fans can once again visit the Tokyo Disney Resort very soon!
Disney Parks Chaiman, Josh D’Amaro shared a photo of the cast and new stage set for “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond” coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom soon! We personally loved “Finding Nemo: The Musical” and can’t wait to see what the new show is like!
The second Avatar film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” has a release date! It will come to theatres Dec 16, 2022! We can’t wait!

News that everyone has been waiting for finally arrived! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Walt Disney World this fall! There are 37 select nights through Aug 12 - Oct 31 for this after hours event in Magic Kingdom & like previous years, guests will need an additional ticket for this after hours event!
AND don’t think that our friends on the West Coast will be left out! Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party is also returning this Halloween season! This is also a separately ticketed event that will take place after hours in Disney’s California Adventure park that will be available on select nights this fall!
Speaking of Disneyland Resort, there was some other big news this week! It was announced that Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will be transformed with a whole new theme! Guests will soon be able to step into the whimsical world of Pixar with curated artwork & decor throughout the hotel!
Disney also announced some updates on the dining offerings at the Downtown Disney District! Din Tai Fung will be joining the roster, offering up hand crafted and flavorful Chinese cuisine served family style! Paseo & Centrico will be bringing fresh Mexican cuisine as well as a great atmosphere as they take over the locations currently occupied by Catal & Uva Bar.
MagicBand+ has made it’s debut at Walt Disney World! It was previously announced that this new innovation would allow guests to engage with Disney moments in new ways including bounty hunting in Galaxy’s Edge, interacting with the Disney Fab 50 golden statues in the parks & experiencing nighttime spectaculars in a new way as your band lights up along with the skies! These bands are now available at World of Disney in Disney Springs! Though as of May 1, it does appear that they were released early and the system may not be ready just yet!

We love Halloween at Disney and they've just announced a spooky and magical Halfway to Halloween celebration on April 28! Guests can find special treats throughout the parks and resorts including a spooky new churro and some incredible Sanderson Sisters inspired cupcakes! On Wednesday there is a Twitter Watch Party featuring a favorite film on Disney+ and on April 28 when Disney Parks will go live on their TikTok account to share some spooky surprises! Disney is also inviting guests in the parks to Disneybound as their favorite character on April 28! Keep watching the Disney Parks blog for more details!
Face masks are now optional on Disneyland Resort Transportation including buses and shuttles! The park released the following statement - “It is strongly recommended that Guests wear face coverings when indoors and in enclosed transportation. Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and older), regardless of vaccination status, in certain indoor health settings, such as in First Aid. Face coverings are optional for Guests in outdoor areas.”

Big news out of Hong Kong Disneyland! After an extended closure due to Covid-19, it has been announced that the park will open again April 21, 2022!

Imagineers at Disneyland Paris have announced the new logo for the soon to be reimagined Disneyland Hotel! The logo features a beautiful crown mimicking the hotel towers & 5 stars, reinforcing the 5 star commitment that the Disneyland Hotel strives for. This reimagining will see a more contemporary style highlighting royal stories throughout the property.

Now, unfortunately a piece of sad news. A baby zebra at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has passed away. The zebra was reportedly injured when it ran into a fence after being chased by an ostrich & didn't survive. While we don't have all the details yet, our thoughts are with the cast members & guests who loved the animal.

Huge news out of Tokyo Disney Resort as the long awaited Toy Story Hotel finally opened! This immersive hotel brings guests into the world of Buzz, Woody & the rest of gang! Guests will feel as though they've shrunk down to toy size & are welcomed as "honorary toys". The story behind the hotel is that Andy has created this toy hotel so his toys have a place to stay & play while he's at camp! This is a moderate hotel with 595 guest rooms, all of which are themed after Andy's room!

RunDisney has announced the dates & details for the 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon! This marks the 30th anniversary of this event & is themed with 90's retro vibes! We're deep into refurbishment season as scrim & construction walls pop up all over Disneyland & Walt Disney World! Scrim is back up at Tarzan's Treehouse in Disneyland. Walls line Hollywood Blvd in California Adventure. Tarps & scaffolding surround Stormalong Bay Bridge at Disney's Yacht Club & according to the Disney website it appears that refurbishment on Expedition Everest has been extended.

We have an official opening date for the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind roller coaster! This new Epcot ride is opening May 27, 2022! This all new coaster has been highly anticipated by fans who cannot wait to join the guardians to save the galaxy once again!

Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, The Disney Wish, has officially departed from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany after almost two years of construction! The ship sailed to Eemshaven in the Netherlands on a journey known as the Ems Conveyance, a sailing with complex maneuvers to test a new cruise ship!

Speaking of Disney Cruise Line, it's been announced that social distancing restrictions are lifted and self service buffets will be resuming! Face coverings are optional in most places on the ship including the Walt Disney Theater. At this time up close character interactions, Pirates Night deck party and Sail Away Celebration all remain paused.
A sad day for Disney fans as it was announced that Estelle Harris passed away on April 2 at age 93. Harris played the voice of Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story films as well as Mrs. Costanza in Seinfeld, Mama Gunda in Tarzan 2, Old Lady Bear in Brother Bear and Mrs. Boogin in Teacher's Pet.

The Cultural Representative Program is officially returning to Walt Disney World this August! No specific dates have been announced but it will return in phases. At this time all participants who had their program shortened or canceled in 2020 have been given a chance to apply. The Germany, Norway, Italy, France, UK & Canada pavilions at EPCOT will be the first to have representatives returning!

The much loved attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean, at the Disneyland Resort is currently undergoing refurbishment however there are pirate themed photo ops decorating the construction walls to bring a little Disney magic & fun while we wait for it to reopen!
The High Rock Spring Pool & On The Rocks Pool Bar at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort will be closed for refurbishment from January - March 2023. If you're planning a trip during this time you may see or hear construction during the day but the other pools will remain open!

The Shanghai Disney Resort is once again closing it doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With a large resurgence in cases the park will be closed beginning March 21, 2022 until further notice.

Cast members of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort have been told that the Spirit of Aloha dinner show will be closed permanently. The show closed in March 2020 due to COVID-19 & while it was rumored since last year it wouldn't be returning, it wasn't confirmed until now.
The Cayman Islands are opening their cruise ship ports after 2 years & the Disney Magic is scheduled to be the first to arrive during phase 1 of reopening. 15 ships from 6 cruise lines have been approved to visit during this phase in which cruise passenger arrivals are limited to 40% of previous volume, no overnight visitors are permitted & calls will last 6-8 hours.

Disney's BoardWalk in Walt Disney World will be seeing some changes over the next couple of years! The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers will be opening in 2023, offering both sweet & savory options for guests to enjoy! With St Patrick's Day just around the corner, guests can find delicious themed treats to celebrate all throughout the parks! From Irish crème chocolate mousse to mint chocolate cheesecake to green corndogs (yes we're serious) there's something for everyone to enjoy!
The Disney Wish is setting sail this summer & we've got a first look at some of the new entertainment on board! Debuting for the first time ever, a new original musical titled "Disney Seas The Adventure" featuring tons of favorite characters & songs! The ship will also debut a brand new stage adaptation of "The Little Mermaid"! This classic story will come to life in a whole new way aboard the Disney Wish as they put a spin on a classic tale!
In the Magic Kingdom, the Frontierland Hoedown is back for the first time in nearly two years! This show features cast members dancing in the streets at intervals throughout the day & typically includes characters but for the time being it does appear to be just cast members performing.

Across the pond at Disneyland Paris it has been announced that guests are no longer required to show their vaccine pass to enter the park! This is in line with guidance from the French Government & follows the recent removal of masks from the park as well.

Starting March 11, 2022 facial coverings will be optional for most indoor locations aboard Disney Cruise Line Ships! Masks are still required in the Walt Disney Theatre for guests ages 2 & up. Guests 5 and up who aren't eligible for vaccination are required to wear a mask in Youth Activities spaces & the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Some ports of call may still require facial coverings as well & Disney notes masks should be worn during boarding & disembarkation.
Across the world in Disneyland Paris regular character interactions have returned to the park! Disneyland Paris Report shared a photo of a guest hugging Winnie The Pooh on March 3. Socially distanced character interactions do remain in place at other Disney parks.
Disney+ announced an expansion of their streaming service, offering an ad-supported subscription option which will be available at a lower price point. This option is slated to roll out late 2022 in the USA & internationally in 2023.

Spaceship Earth is lit up with a new Beacons of Magic show for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! The show is set to the song "Colors of the Wind" from the film Pocahontas & features some beautiful light work!
